Learning for Everyone
Universal Design ensures that every child and family regardless of ability or background can fully experience the Imagineerium. This approach inspires curiosity, creativity, and growth in a place where everyone belongs.
Why It Matters
When spaces are inclusive, children can play, learn, and explore alongside their peers. Families of all abilities, cultures, and backgrounds feel fully part of the experience.
Accessible Spaces
Wide pathways, adjustable stations, and sensory-friendly areas make it easy for children with varying physical or sensory needs to navigate and participate.
Multi-Sensory Learning
Hands-on activities engage sight, sound, touch, and movement so every child can explore in ways that work best for them. Multi-sensory experiences encourage family participation and accommodate different learning styles.
Inclusive Communication
Clear signage, easy-to-understand instructions, and alternative formats help all visitors navigate the museum confidently. Families from every background can participate fully and independently.
We use Universal Design Principles at The Imagineerium to create spaces, programs, and experiences that are welcoming and accessible for everyone from the start.
No special accommodations are needed because the museum is built for all children and families.
The Imagineerium is a 501(c)(3) organization.
